This here is a wonderful Vintage Tiffany & Co. Glass Globe Paperweight. This
etched frosted glass paperweight is made in the depiction of a globe of the
earth, showing all continents except Antarctica on the bottom. Measuring appr 2
1/4” in diameter, this piece is in good condition showing no chips or cracks to
the glass and minor wear from age and handling. There is some minor surface
wear with a few light surface scratches or scuffs in spots. There are a few
tiny surface spots which may be removable with a proper cleaning. I’ve opted to
to attempt this to avoid potential damage leaving the option to the perspective
buyer. Examples of these are seen in the photos. These issues are really quite
minor and really only noticeable upon close inspection. Some light reflections
in photos were unavoidable. Please to not take these for flaws. Tiffany & Co.
mark on bottom, also as can be seen in photos. I’ve seen other examples with a
small base stand, however, I’m not certain one was originally included.
Unfortunately, I DO NOT have the original box. Overall, a very nice paperweight
that would look great displayed on any desktop and would make an excellent
addition to any paperweight or globe collection.
